<p>Since then, IMED has established small business startups and incubators in dozens of the hardest to reach countries on earth. The purpose is to equip local entrepreneurs to use business to improve their lives and impact their communities without the need for ongoing charity.</p>
<p>Project sites include Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Mongolia, Thailand, Egypt, Ethiopia, and several locations in North Africa.</p>
