Mike B is heading out this Saturday to perform the “final checkout” before launching the Project in southern Bulgaria.
A team is in Fisherman Village in Nepal.
An IMED team is en route to Nepal and a “fisherman village” to help with community development and other needs in that area.
IMED–International Micro Enterprise Development, Inc. was formed as an all volunteer 501 (c) (3) in 2001 in order to expand relief work that began in 1994 in the Former Soviet Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
Since then, IMED has established small business startups and incubators in dozens of the hardest to reach countries on earth. The purpose is to equip local entrepreneurs to use business to improve their lives and impact their communities without the need for ongoing charity.
Project sites include Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Mongolia, Thailand, Egypt, Ethiopia, and several locations in North Africa.
